Course Objectives:
This onsite HR training course provides explanation on what discrimination in employment means. It also provides guidance for supervisors/managers on how to avoid discrimination in employment decisions and discusses the advantages of having a diverse workforce.
By the end of this course your managers/supervisors will understand the importance of diversity in the workplace and how they can support it for everyone’s benefit. They will be armed with the knowledge to:
- identify the ways in which thier team is diverse
- understand both the challenges and the opportunities of a diverse workforce
- help avoid discrimination and harassment in the workplace
- follow the laws and your organization’s policy regarding workplace diversity and discrimination
