Management and Operation of Workforce System Contracts

Profile

Workforce systems management is complex. Successful management and operation of Career Center networks requires familiarity with federal and state legislation and regulations. Our partner was successfully (through open market procurement), awarded Career Center Management, WIA Youth Program Management, Child Care Program Management and Planning and Labor Market Analysis contracts throughout the State of Texas.

Problem

Our partner was transitioning from a current contractor to an operational management business model. As such, successfully doing so meant that they must be able to handle the day-to-day operational tasks such as Human Resources, Payroll and Employee Benefits. Our partner identified that outsourcing these areas made strong fiscal sense and allowed them to focus on the other areas which were required to meet and exceed their contractual obligations.

Solution

During the bid process, our partner factored in the costs of outsourcing Human Resources, Payroll and Employee Benefits within their funding requirements. They evaluated a number of PEO organizations and retained UniqueHR to take over the implementation of these functions as well as to provide ongoing guidance of Human Resource reviews, updates and changes.

Result

This has been a very successful partnership for almost five years.

“Having UniqueHR on board to assist during and after the transition made for the perfect partnership. This partnership has enabled us to focus on our contractual obligations and be confident that we are compliant. We rest assure that what needs to be done is being done.”
